Traveller occupation of the old fire station area ends

We learnt with some concern this week that travellers had broken into the area behind the old fire station, just off Harpenden Road. It was fenced off and locked, but force had been used to gain entry.

Exploratory drilling at the play area

The Heath has been subjected to drilling work in several areas as a follow up to ‘anomalies’ found in the ground that might be related to the subsidence in the Fontmell/Bridle close area.  Work now continues by the children’s play

Progress on the Lower Field
